“The Economic Report” television show to feature Rubberlite, Inc.

Huntington, W.Va, January 12, 2009: The management team of Rubberlite, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company is featured in the national television program, The Economic Report with Greg Gumbel. The Company is featured in the show’s Focus on Business series on Leading Developments in U.S. Manufacturing for the 21st Century.

“We were contacted in late 2008 by the producers of the show. The producers had been doing research on the amazing amount of manufacturing facilities and jobs moving overseas and wanted to feature a company that bucked that trend,” said Allen Mayo, President and CEO of Rubberlite, Inc.

Rubberlite is a manufacturer and converter of cellular rubber and plastic products for industries throughout the world. Rubberlite has kept all of their manufacturing, research and development, and sourcing in the United States since inception in 1986.

The producers of the show sent a production team to the Huntington, W.Va. headquarters of the Company for a day of filming and interviews to develop the segment. Following that, numerous conferences and interviews were completed until the final production was revealed in February of 2009. The segment is scheduled to air numerous times over the next few months with its launch in the Minneapolis – St. Paul market on CNN’s Headline News in February of 2009.

Unfortunately, in our industry, that has led to sub-par products and a decreased focus on customer service.
