Laminations

Fabric to Foam

Unique to Rubberlite, one of the few domestic laminators, is our non-solvent based process for bonding fabric to substrates.  This system creates a permanent fabric-to-foam bond that also allows for unlimited omni-directional stretch with a full and complete return to its original shape.  By implementing a proprietary system not using a solvent-based adhesive, we avoid the harmful effects of residual solvent off gassing.

We provide a proven process with excellent quality control for laminating both stretch and non-stretch fabric to foam.  We laminate to a wide range of elastomeric materials including:

  • Vinyl-nitrile
  • Cross-linked polyethylene
  • Neoprene blends
  • EVA

Our most common substrates are pure neoprene and polyurethane foam.  Typical applications include sporting goods, sports medicine, orthopedic, diving and equestrian markets.  Whatever the application, we have a lamination solution.

Our adhesive is latex free and TOSCA listed.
